Stage 2 — Toddler
Toddler Classes for 1 to 2 Years
Photographic Memory & Early Words
Toddlers are curious, busy and absorbing everything. Our fast-paced, short-burst activities are built exactly for that — holding their attention while quietly strengthening memory, language and early reasoning.

Once a week, one hour
A single weekly session designed to slot into family life, with over 20 short activities packed into every class.
Maximum 6 children
Small groups mean your child is genuinely seen every week, and your educator can adapt to them individually.
You learn alongside
One parent or guardian joins every class — precious bonding time, and the best way to learn the techniques yourself.
IQ and EQ together
Cognitive work always sits beside “Education of the Heart”, so kindness and confidence grow with capability.
The stage at a glance
What 1–2 years looks like at Shichida UK
Between one and two, your child's vocabulary and imagination expand at remarkable speed. Classes move quickly from one short activity to the next, which suits a toddler's natural attention span and keeps them delighted rather than drilled. Photographic memory work, flash play and pattern games sit alongside movement and song.

Inside a session
How the hour unfolds
Memory and flash play
Rapid, joyful image play trains the right brain to take in whole pictures at a glance — the beginnings of photographic memory.
Language explosion
Naming games, picture books and repetition give your toddler the vocabulary they are hungry for, often well ahead of expectations.
Early maths and patterns
Dots, sequences and sorting introduce quantity and order long before formal numbers, in a way that feels like a game.
Movement and music
Action songs and coordination games channel toddler energy productively while supporting rhythm, balance and listening.

And then at home
Consistency is everything at this stage. Your educator will show you how to keep sessions short, positive and finished while your toddler still wants more — the single habit that makes the biggest difference.
Parent stories
Families whose children started at 1–2 years
“Avery's really improved since he started at Shichida. Two months into the programme, when he started the memory training, he was able to unlock our phone and that was really impressive.”
“Definitely feel the Shichida method enhances the use of memory regulation and attentiveness. It is also so much fun for the little ones to learn new things in each class!”
“She mastered the memory game. For example a sequence of 14 story items are displayed and she always remembers all the items and answer them back.”
