Stage 3 — Preschool
Preschool Classes for 2 to 4 Years
Visualisation, Logic & Happy Emotions
This is the stage where imagination and logic begin to work together. Children visualise, reason, solve and explain — and start to understand their own feelings alongside their growing skills.

Once a week, one hour
A single weekly session designed to slot into family life, with over 20 short activities packed into every class.
Maximum 6 children
Small groups mean your child is genuinely seen every week, and your educator can adapt to them individually.
You learn alongside
One parent or guardian joins every class — precious bonding time, and the best way to learn the techniques yourself.
IQ and EQ together
Cognitive work always sits beside “Education of the Heart”, so kindness and confidence grow with capability.
The stage at a glance
What 2–4 years looks like at Shichida UK
Two to four year olds are becoming independent thinkers. Sessions stretch a little in complexity: image training and visualisation, spatial puzzles, early literacy and number work, and structured activities that build the ability to sit, focus and finish. Emotional development runs through everything, so growing capability is matched by growing kindness.

Inside a session
How the hour unfolds
Image training and visualisation
Children learn to picture stories, sequences and objects in their mind — the skill that makes memory, comprehension and creativity feel effortless later.
Logic, puzzles and spatial work
Jigsaws, tangrams and sorting tasks develop reasoning and the quiet satisfaction of working a problem through to the end.
Early reading and numbers
Phonics, sight words and number play are introduced gently, so school concepts feel familiar rather than daunting when they arrive.
Education of the Heart
Praise, encouragement and reflection help children handle mistakes, wait their turn and feel genuinely proud of their own effort.

And then at home
Parents sit alongside their child in every class, so the language and pacing we use becomes the language you use at home — which is why progress at this stage is often so noticeable to family and nursery staff.
